Oblique Muscle Surgery
Surgery on the inferior and superior oblique muscles.
Oblique surgery is less forgiving than rectus surgery: the landmarks are posterior, the exposure is deeper, and the structures you most want to avoid — the vortex vein, the fat pad, the macula under the insertion — are close by. This course starts with inferior oblique anteriorization, shown from the surgeon’s point of view. Superior oblique procedures will follow.
